Nothing presented through our website, courses, programs, guidebooks, worksheets, calculators, videos, social-media content, emails, communications, or other materials constitutes individualized financial, investment, tax, accounting, credit-repair, bankruptcy, insurance, estate-planning, or legal advice.

Break the Cycle Finance, Financial First Gen™, Your Kitchen Table CFO, Kitchen Table Wisdom, Build What Lasts, related program names, logos, and brand elements may not be used in a manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, ownership, or affiliation without our prior written permission.

When you lawfully access or purchase one of our resources, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use that material for your own personal, noncommercial educational purposes.

Unless we provide written permission, you may not:

• Copy or reproduce substantial portions of our materials.
• Sell, license, sublicense, or redistribute our materials.
• Upload our materials to another website, platform, shared drive, course, membership, or artificial-intelligence system.
• Share paid course access, passwords, downloads, or account credentials.
• Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other ownership notices.

• Use our materials to create competing products, courses, workshops, or services.

Brief quotations may be used when permitted by law and accompanied by clear attribution to Break the Cycle Finance.

Certain products, programs, or services may require an account.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not directly store complete payment-card information.

Except where required by law or expressly stated in the applicable offer, purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

The Financial First Gen™ program includes a 90-Day Build What Lasts Guarantee for eligible purchases when the guarantee is displayed on the applicable sales or checkout page.

To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, the purchaser must:

• Complete the Financial Starting Point assessment.
• Put at least three Financial First Gen Building Blocks into practice.
• Submit the refund request within 90 calendar days of the original purchase date.
• Send the request to hello@breakthecyclefinance.com using the email address associated with the purchase.
• Provide enough information for us to locate the purchase and confirm completion of the guarantee requirements.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Processing time may depend on the payment provider and financial institution.

The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and does not apply to duplicate purchases, unauthorized account sharing, misuse of program materials, or purchases obtained through fraud or chargeback abuse. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Our website and materials may reference or link to third-party websites, government agencies, financial institutions, credit bureaus, calculators, software, payment processors, social-media platforms, products, or professional services.

Links and references are provided for convenience and education. They do not necessarily constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or recommendation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homestead Economics LLC, Break the Cycle Finance, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of—or inability to use—the website, materials, products, programs, or services.

This includes, without limitation, loss of money, profits, opportunities, data, credit standing, business, or anticipated savings.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a paid product or service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim arose.

For claims relating solely to free content or resources, our total liability will not exceed $100.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Homestead Economics LLC, Break the Cycle Finance, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the website or materials, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

This provision does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, an account, a program, or protected materials if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, misused our content, threatened the security of our systems, or engaged in unlawful conduct.

Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, governing law, and other provisions that logically should continue will survive termination.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, legal proceedings arising from these terms or your use of Break the Cycle Finance will be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Missouri, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from pursuing a claim in small-claims court when the claim qualifies.

We may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes to our website, products, services, business practices, or legal obligations.

When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Changes become effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.

Your continued use of the website after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the affected provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

Our decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable purchase- or program-specific terms constitute the agreement between you and Homestead Economics LLC concerning your use of Break the Cycle Finance.
